Listed on the link below is the attire and footwear for each class. Please be sure that your student is dressed in the proper attire for each class enrolled.


Our Recommendations

  • Baby Combo Class

    This class is designed for your pre-kinder dance student. Students will explore the world around them through dance and movement. This class will provide the very beginning foundations of ballet and tap while having fun and learning how to fill the space around them. Music, games, and curriculum designed to help your young dancer form developmental skills that will aid in the growth of their future dance journey. This class is recommended for dancers ages 3-4.

  • Kinderoo Combo

    This class is designed to teach young dancers the beginning fundamentals of ballet and tap. Students will gain skills in exploring space and movement, basic ballet & tap terminology, technique, coordination, developing motor skills, and building self-confidence. This class is recommended for ages 4-5 years old who have entered kindergarten.

  • Combo A

    Combo Level A is designed for students ages 5-7 years. This class is a ballet and tap combo that will focus on introducing basic dance concepts, such as rhythms, timing, and musicality. Dancers will learn the basic foundational positions in ballet as well as entry-level tap terminology.

  • Combo B

    Combo B is designed for dancers ages 6-8 or dancers that have completed the necessary skills to graduate from combo A. In combo B, students will expand upon the basic skills from the previous level. This class will also include expanded terminology, and technique (including jazz.)

  • Advanced Combo

    Advanced combo class is for dancers ages 6-8 who have mastered the terminology and skills in Combo B. In advanced combo, students will expand their skills from the previous level to prepare them for our beginning class disciplines. This class will also include expanded terminology, technique (including jazz,) choreographing exercises, and the understanding of the dancer’s anatomy. Advanced combo dancers will be required to wear appropriate uniform to class.

  • Mini Groovers

    Our mini groovers class is designed for ages 5-7. Tap will be the foundational style, where we will focus on rhythms, musicality, and tempo. Students will also get a sampling of various styles that are not in our standard combo classes, such as hip-hop, musical theatre, and moving to the beat in various ways. This class is an energetic environment that dancers will love.

  • Ballet Level 1

    Ballet level 1, is a foundational class that introduces the basic positions and elementary technique of classical ballet. This class will focus on proper alignment and the understanding of the dancer's anatomy.

  • Ballet Level 2

    Ballet level 2 is for dancers that have mastered the terminology and technique that have been introduced in ballet level 1. Students will continue to develop their skills and perfect their technique to prepare for intermediate-level ballet courses.

  • Intermediate Ballet/Technique

    Prerequisite required. This class is designed for the dancer who has a knowledge of ballet curriculum can move easily through barre and center exercises. Students will continue to strengthen their ballet technique, flexibility and will take on more challenging steps to prepare them for advanced ballet and technique.

  • Advanced Ballet/Technique

    Prerequisite required. Students will continue to strengthen their ballet technique, flexibility, and performance level quality. Sequences and combinations become increasingly more complex in nature at this level.

  • Jazz Level 1

    Jazz is an upbeat, stylistic form of dance that focuses on the isolation of the body to specific rhythms and tempos. This class will start with movement basics and foundational technique.

  • Jazz Level 2

    Jazz Level 2 is for dancers that have mastered the terminology and technique that have been introduced in jazz level 1. Students will continue to develop their skills and perfect their technique and learn more complex combinations that are designed to prepare them for intermediate-level jazz courses.

  • Intermediate Jazz

    This is a prerequisite course for dancers that have completed and graduated from Jazz Level 2. Dancers will further expand their knowledge of jazz technique as well as learn to use proper alignment and leaps and turns.

  • Advanced Jazz

    Prerequisite required. This class is designed for dancers that have mastered intermediate jazz and are looking for more of a challenge. students will be challenged with more complex combinations both across the floor and in center exercises.

  • Contemporary

    Prerequisite required ages 13+. Marrying ballet and jazz to make an emotional form of art is the definition of contemporary dance. A strong understanding of alignment, ballet technique, and proper placement is the skill sets that are needed to take this class. You must take ballet/technique concurrently with contemporary to be added to this class.

  • Tap Level 1

    In Tap Level 1, dancers will learn a variety of steps that focus on timing, musicality, and rhythm. structure will include a warm-up, across-the-floor progression, and a center combination.

  • Tap Level 2

    Tap Level 2 is designed for dancers that have mastered the skills from Tap Level 1. This class is for students who have a good knowledge of all tap vocabulary. Students are introduced to more advanced concepts such as musicality, improvisation, more complex combinations, use of space and choreography. Students gradually develop speed, clarity, and understanding of time and tempo.

  • Beginning Hip Hop

    Designed for ages 8+. This fun style of street dance makes for an upbeat and energetic class. Hip-hop is great for learning how to isolate parts of the body, keep rhythm, build self-confidence, and learn stage presence. All music for the beginning and Intermediate classes is age-appropriate.

  • Intermediate Hip Hop

    Ages 11-12. Continuing where beginning hip hop leaves off, students will continue to gain all of the dance skill sets that hip hop has to offer.

  • Advanced Hip Hop

    Ages 13+, prerequisite required. Stylized street dance with grit and high-performance energy. Be prepared to bring it and have fun at the same time! Advanced hip hop will challenge you to that next level owning your ability to move freely, and just be you.

  • Acro Pre Junior

    Pre Junior Acro is designed for ages 5-7 years. Students will learn Developmental Tricks to set up their training foundation, plus Body Positions, Jumps, and Motor Skills Development items. These skill sets will be incorporated into the dance. Although not required, Footlie suggests that acro dancers take an additional combo class as well to help build their foundational dance skills.

  • Acro Junior Level

    Acro Junior level is for ages 8+. All Junior classes are taught the same curriculum but will advance at different rates based on skill, age, discipline and mastery of their tricks, etc. Students will master body positions, handstands, bridges, rolls, cartwheels, balances, walkovers and so much more! These skills will be infused with dance. Footlite recommends that either ballet or jazz be taken in addition to acro to help develop dance terminology and skills.

  • Acro Intermediate Level

    Prerequisite required. Intermediate acro is designed for students that have mastered all of the skills taught in the Junior curriculum. Intermediate Acro students, build upon skills and focuses on increased strength, power, control, and proper skill execution. Introduction of advanced skills, acrobatic partnering, and the combination of moves in tumbling passes. These skill sets will be infused with dance choreography.
